United States
Приєднався 25 чер 2017
I'm fascinated by all things nature: birds, frogs, forests, streams, beaches and more. I post a new video every Saturday! Find more nature photos and videos on Twitter, Instagram and Bluesky.
A Fox Family!
I'm always excited to see a Red Fox which for me happens maybe every couple months. But seeing a young fox kit is a rare event and absolutely made my day! Look at this little cutie snoozing in the sun.

Get To Know the Green Heron
Переглядів 166Місяць тому
A small heron who lurks by ponds, lakes and wetlands, catching small fish and mostly being very quiet. They do make a very surprising sound that had me confused for quite some time. It does not sound like a bird at all! They're easy to miss among the summer greenery so it always makes me happy when I spot one Check out more of my work on Patreon! Spring Turtle Shenanigans
Переглядів 872 місяці тому
The turtles were out and about at the wetlands this week! Walking around like they own the place, basking, trying to climb with the usual challenges, trying to mate and being rebuffed. Being a turtle looks like a challenge, at least as a human who is used to having decent mobility. Then again, they have built in armor! Want to see more? Bird Migration
Переглядів 1303 місяці тому
The fact that millions of birds travel thousands of miles twice a year is pretty astounding. They fly for hours at a time, for days at a time to reach their winter homes and then go back to their nesting spots in summer. Here's a celebration of this event, showing some of the birds who migrate and a little about when and how. Want to learn more about my work? See photos and exclusive videos? Pl...
Get To Know The Red-winged Blackbird
Переглядів 4663 місяці тому
Red-winged Blackbirds are fierce and loud but also beautiful and great parents. Meet the protective dad, the quieter mom and their scrawny but adorable babies. I love the call of these birds in particular because they herald the return of spring as they claim territories for nesting. Taken with a long lens from across the water so I didn't disturb the nest. Want to see photos, exclusive videos ...

Get To Know The (Adorable) Common Yellowthroat
I used to live in a place where I'd throw out dog biscuits at night, and a couple of little silver foxes would gobble them up. One night, a bear was eating sunflower seed off the ground, and all of a sudden, it got up and went and hugged a huge pine tree...WHAT scared that? A pair of fox with the kit coming in for their biscuits!! I LOVE Nature....People? eh.
What are labeled Eastern Wood Pewees looks like Black Phoebes to me; that said, I live in California and am clueless about the EWPE. If there’s anyone who has seen both, please weigh in.
Such a wonderful place filled with so much beauty. A friend who lives in South Jersey and I think there seems to be an over-abundance of Willets this year. They sure do make a lot of noise. One of my favorite spots to visit is the visitor center near Ocean City, NJ where the rookery is located. I try to take the ferry over from Delaware a few times a year, but I missed the nesting season this year. Thanks for sharing scenes from this important spot along the Jersey coast.
OMG. I love when the young have those feathers sticking out all over their heads. I have a few families of House Finches visiting my yard right now, and the young are so needy! They are able to feed themselves, but I guess it doesn't hurt to beg sometimes. I have to share this video with my sister since she has a sparrow in her yard that has been feeding a young Brown-headed Cowbird. The young bird is so much larger than the sparrow! I also enjoy seeing and hearing the Gray Catbirds. I love their orange feather under their tail. Another great video!
How cute! I love how it stretches as it is walking away. It's cool that when you returned the next time that the parent was also there. Great timing! Thanks for sharing with us.
wow so cute fox pup. nice video bro
Nice video. Life going on...
Thank you! Your videos are always so informative and well-done!
What I wouldn't give to live in a place with fireflies!
Your reaction to the owl was awesome!
Very cool!
Beautiful. Turn out the lights.
I love content like this. Simple, slow living, nature. No music or commentary❤
So peaceful! (I have no service!)
Oops! Thanks for letting me know. Have a great time!
You are so right. Before covid I never looked closely. Since then I observe much more, I pause, I enjoy the small things - as my two daughters are doing too. They are so great in discovering things!😊
Just wonderful!
Incredible!💚 Thank you so much for sharing all your amazing videos.😊
Awesome video, beautiful birds.

Nice video !
That little “Oh!” when the wave hit the crab. ❤
Love that you captured the sound.
❤
Beautiful footage! Thank you!
So precious! The elites want to build onshore and offshore wind turbine surrounding these guys in Newfoundland. We are trying to stop them but one does not simply win against the elites.
It was so fun to hear your voice! I miss it.
The birds, etc were comfortable with you around
That's a lovely thought!

very nice!❤
they are so graceful.. and mesmerizing ❤
Mesmerizing is exactly right!
How fantastic! Lucky you 😍
I saw this many bathing in a wetland pool outside of Albany, OR! It was incredible 😍🦅
I’m telling you, the native Americans observed and copied the actions and looks of the animals.
Anyone who thinks at all and observes nature at all knows that evolution is a lie. All of this beauty, splendor, seasonal knowledge in animals (many directed by the localities of the constellations), spells out clearly that there is a God who lives eternally, who created perfection and who guides it in every detail. How can we NOT worship a Being like that?
Saw a few Buffs! They are the cutest and smallest ducks in the U.S.
Nice video Keep them coming!
Thank you! I try to have a new one every Saturday
I live near Brockway Mountain in Copper Harbor Michigan. That is in the path of the Birds of Prey Migration. WOW...is THAT incredible. I had a flock of red tailed hawks fly up behind me...I felt wings on my head...was that the coolest....also watched Eagles Kettling...that was a gift from the Good Lord himself!
That sounds incredible!
That was Southwest and I last year
I love Red-winged Blackbirds! 🥰
Nice video. One of Belinda Carlisle's albums has the call of the Redwinged Blackbird as the last track.
